He studied Hebrew Pharisee and Saducee systematic theology, and have memorized 218 Themes/Doctrines of the New Testament Systematic Theology. he also memorized 200 sermons in a sentence in order to answer your questions now, with simple clarity. high Priests are uniqely born promised with spiritual gifts/abilites to teach with. He loves questions! People love short simple answers! The Bible says this about High Priests;
Hebrews: 5:1-4 "For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: ...And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
Romans: 3:23 "unto them (high priests) were committed (by the promise of God) the oracles of God."
As published by Open Bible magazine in 1994 Entitled, "Kick Boxing to Faith" by Dolores Winegar
The 1st Cambodian (Asian) Church of the Open Bible in Rosemead, California, is one of the most unusual churches in Open Bible. The ages of those who attend are up to 22 years. The church is mainly made up of orphan refugees from Cambodia. They now live under "honor system" rules--a formality that forbids hugs and kisses and is void of verbal comfort and support their superiors don't support them going to church.
Sherman Rourman, trained by World Grand Master Parker, began reaching these orphans by sharing his expertise in kick boxing. Group activities include basketball, baseball, ping pong, weight lifting...lots of sports. Difficulties ministering to these young people include lack of funding, necessary translators, and drivers to transport them to church and activities.
The church's fifth anniversary was celebrated in 1992 with 91 "Ninjas" attending at its new location, the Rosemead Open Bible Chruch. To fit with their cultural heritage, there are two groups, the "Ninjas" (age 14 and up) and the "Ninjets" (up to age 14). Although the boys (and now a few girls) are regularly at the pastor's house throughout the week for Bible study and kick boxing or a sporting activity, the basic ministry consists of Sunday morning worships and Friday night Bible Study.
While the 'kids' are drawn by their interests in sports, emphasis is placed on intense Bible training to be leaders, teachers, evangelists, even working toward Open Bible ministerial credentials. They have studied the first 50 themes of systematic theology so each has a basic understanding of the Scriptures and can begin to "rightly divide the Word of Truth." With Pastor Rourman's unique teachings of the key words in the Scripture, a "Ninja" can understand a scripture and teach it. Their goal is to have every "Ninja receive Open Bible credentials. Newly emerging leaders, such as Tai Son, Tsam Son, Daniel Son, Pom Sons, Woo Son, Panm Son, and Diep Sons, are progressing toward this goal. Chivoan Kao and Rathana Svon, staff pastors at the church, recently received ministerial licenses.
To test their understanding of the Scriptures, they take a difficult exam, which consists of physical and spiritual "warfare" between these "Ninjas." Pastor Rouraman states, "We expect it to be difficult. They may ride bikes in "odd" apparel, with baseball caps turned backwards, but never underestimate the power of God in these boys! I have never seen a church of adults better trained in the Word. These boys are awesome!"
As these Christians continue to mature, both spiritually and physically, they will take places of leadership within the church and continue to win others for the Kingdom of Jesus.
